Laura Aston is a multi-award winning UK country music singer from the West Midlands, born on 20th March 1993. She started her career in her teen years, working abroad performing in holiday resorts before returning to the UK to pursue her true calling.

The Beginning

In 2017 Laura returned to the UK and started posting videos on social media. The response was overwhelming and Laura's journey began following several viral videos, including deeply moving performances with her late Grandfather. In 2018, Laura auditioned for a management company seeking singers for a girlband - but the team felt she had something special and offered her a solo management deal instead.

Laura spoke with the team and expressed her love for country music. Her late Irish Grandparents had always played country music around the house, so she was raised on it and had developed a deep passion for the great female artists of country. It was decided - Laura would follow her dream to become a UK Country Music Artist.

Rise to Number 1

Laura began working on her socials performing covers while crafting original music in the studio. The response to country music online was even better than before, and her voice attracted several writers and producers from America. Radio stations in Nashville were playing her music. Country artists were reaching out for collaboration.

Her debut release "Remember Me" in 2018 - in support of a West Midlands charity - went straight to Number 1 in the Country Music chart. It was just the beginning.

"Bible Paper Thin", released on 16th August 2018, awarded Laura her second Number 1, receiving worldwide airplay and being named the Chris Country music hot single of the week. On December 13th 2018, "Daddies Lie" became her third Number 1 of 2018 - a soft storytelling ballad about a daughter's love for her father - and would later be awarded the Bluebird Golden Pick, making Laura the first international artist ever to receive the honour.

Nashville & Beyond

In 2019, Laura and her manager began planning a headline tour. Laura Aston and the LA Band - a 4-piece - started rehearsing for headline shows. She released "Nothing Can Break Me" (co-written with X Factor winner Kellimarie Willis) on 21st November 2019, making it her fourth Number 1 and the fastest-selling single of the week. Tour tickets sold out in record time.

After Covid-19 forced postponements in 2020, Laura was finally able to greet her fans in late 2021 when restrictions lifted. She was also nominated for Entertainer of the Year at the BCMA Awards.

On 23rd February 2022, Laura released her fifth single "Good Things Come About" alongside her lockdown album "The Calm Before The Storm" - both debuting at Number 1 and controlling 5 of the Top 10 positions. "Good Things Come About" charted in 7 different countries.

In September 2022, Laura made her first trip to Nashville to perform at the Bluebird Café, spending a week performing, touring Nashville, and conducting press interviews. On September 29th, her single "Love You Endlessly" debuted at Number 1 in the UK Country Charts.

With over 500,000 followers on TikTok and more than 300,000 on Facebook, Laura's music continues to reach listeners far and wide. Her songs rack up thousands of streams each month, with over 7,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, and her live performances are known for their authenticity, warmth, and genuine connection.
